Dr. Brazina is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, he believes in providing his patients with the best quality of care, the newest most effective surgical techniques and the latest in conservative care.
First and foremost, his emphasis is always on the patient's individual needs.
Dr. Brazina, “The Jock Doc”, specializes in arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, and industrial medicine. He uses minimally invasive techniques for faster recovery and a quicker return to work and sports. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery; the Arthroscopy Board of North America; and the American College of Surgeons. He also serves as an Agreed Medical Examiner. Dr. Brazina has treated some of the world’s top amateur professional athletes.
He has served as a medical consultant to the U.S. Olympic Committee, Red Bull Athletes, Cirque du Soleil “Kooza”, Dancing with the Stars, The Southern California Cheetahs Track Club, and Second Opinion for the NFL Players Association. He has also served as Team physician for the L.A. Heat Football Team and the Los Angeles Blades.
Dr. Brazina has extensive experience in the Medical Legal aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery including PI, IME examinations and all aspects of Workers’ Compensation. He lectures extensively on utilizing AMA Guidelines.
Dr. Brazina writes and lectures to the profession and for the public. He is editorial consultant and contributor to Max Fitness Magazine, Women’s Fitness Magazine and has been featured in articles published in Redbook, Shape Magazine, Sports Illustrated and Elle. He has appeared on CNN, Entertainment Tonight, LA Today, Skiing America, and other TV shows.
