Medical Services
DR. ROVEN is a Board Certified Specialist in Otolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery. He is on the
medical/surgical staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is trained to diagnose and treat
diseases and disorders that affect the head and neck area. As a Plastic Surgeon he performs
reconstructive surgery to repair and restore damaged bone and soft tissue, treats hand injuries
and peripheral nerve injuries . DR. ROVEN also treats skin cancer and all types of burns.

·Audiotory Brainstem Evoked Potential Studies - Two Purposes:
- Determination of the existence of any hearing loss (the type and extent).
- Determination of sound pathways to the brain (frequently abnormal in
toxic exposure cases).
·Electronystagmogram (ENG) - Objective determination of the balancing
mechanism (vertigo).

Dr. Roven is a California Certified QME and is thoroughly experienced in performing medical-legal evaluations to provide an accurate assessment of the injured worker's disability status.
He is available for QME evaluations and Agreed Medical Evaluations.
If necessary, a DISABILITY STATUS form is faxed immediately after the evaluation to notify the employer of the medical status/AOE-COE and whether a disability exists.
A comprehensive report is provided with a detailed analysis containing substantial medical evidence in the appropriate format accepted by the WORKERS' COMPENSATION REFORM ACT OF SB 899.
