In-patient Medical care is monitored on a daily basis until patient is discharged for home and follow-up care.
Diagnostic Procedures:
The following diagnostic tests are performed to accurately assess the
neurological status of an injured worker:
Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER)
Electroencephalogram (EEG)
Electromyogram (EMG)
Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV)
Somatosensory Evoked Response (SER)
Medical-Legal Evaluations
Dr. Jurkowitz is a California Certified QME and is thoroughly experienced in performing medical-legal evaluations to provide an accurate assessment of the injured worker's disability status.
He is available for QME evaluations and Agreed Medical Evaluations.
If necessary, a DISABILITY STATUS form is faxed immediately after the evaluation to notify the employer of the medical status/AOE-COE and whether a disability exists.
A comprehensive report is provided with a detailed analysis containing substantial medical evidence in the appropriate format accepted by the WORKERS' COMPENSATION REFORM ACT OF SB 899.
